Install Apple Music

In order to install Apple Music with Software Manager,

  1. Install Flatpak and add Nuvola Player repository.
  2. Launch Software Manager.
  3. Search for Apple Music.
  4. If there are multiple results, install a package from the stable branch. Unfortunately, this information is not available in the list of packages, but you need to visit package detail and wait a bit until this information is shown.
  5. Then log out and log in back to let your desktop environment (Cinnamon, Mate, XFCE) find out that a new application has been installed. Otherwise, you may see mismatched application icons and other funny bugs.

Alternatively, launch a Linux terminal emulator, type flatpak install nuvola eu.tiliado.NuvolaAppAppleMusic and press the Enter key to install this package.

Then log out and log in back to let your desktop environment (Cinnamon, Mate, XFCE) find out that a new application has been installed. Otherwise, you may see mismatched application icons and other funny bugs.

Launch Apple Music

  • You should be able to find Apple Music in a list of installed applications. If not, you may have forgotten to log out and log in and your desktop environment (Cinnamon, Mate, XFCE) has not find out yet that a new application has been installed.
  • Alternatively, you can launch Apple Music from a terminal:
    flatpak run eu.tiliado.NuvolaAppAppleMusic
