Install Google Play Music

  1. Install Flatpak and add Nuvola Apps repository.
  2. In order to install Google Play Music with GNOME Software, launch GNOME Software, which is called just Software, search for Google Play Music and finally click the Install button.

    Alternatively, launch a Linux terminal emulator and type the command below and press the Enter key to install the package.

    
            flatpak install nuvola eu.tiliado.NuvolaAppGooglePlayMusic
          
  3. Then log out and log in back to let your desktop environment (GNOME, Unity, etc.) find out that a new application has been installed. Otherwise, you may see "Unknown Application Name" in the menu bar, mismatched application icons and other funny bugs.

Launch Google Play Music

  • You should be able to find Google Play Music in a list of installed applications. If not, you may have forgotten to log out and log in and your desktop environment (GNOME, Unity, etc.) has not find out yet that a new application has been installed.
  • Alternatively, you can launch Google Play Music from a terminal:

    flatpak run eu.tiliado.NuvolaAppGooglePlayMusic
