Install Pandora

You can install Pandora easily with KDE Discover (KDE Plasma Workstation) or GNOME Software (GNOME Workstation). Alternatively, you can install Pandora from command-line.

KDE Plasma Workstation

  1. Install Flatpak and add Nuvola Player repository.

  2. In order to install Pandora with KDE Discover, launch KDE Discover, search for Pandora and finally click the Install button.

    Launch KDE Discover and open Applications section. Search for 'Pandora' and click the 'Install' button.

  3. Then log out and log in back to let your desktop environment (e.g., KDE Plasma, GNOME Shell) find out that a new application has been installed. Otherwise, you may see mismatched application icons and other funny bugs.

GNOME Workstation

  1. Install Flatpak and add Nuvola Player repository.

  2. In order to install Pandora with GNOME Software, launch GNOME Software, search for Pandora and finally click the Install button.

    Launch GNOME Software and search for 'Pandora'. Click the 'Install' button.

  3. Then log out and log in back to let your desktop environment (e.g., KDE Plasma, GNOME Shell) find out that a new application has been installed. Otherwise, you may see mismatched application icons and other funny bugs.

From Terminal

  1. Install Flatpak and add Nuvola Player repository.

  2. Launch a Linux terminal emulator and run the following command to install this package:
    flatpak install nuvola eu.tiliado.NuvolaAppPandora

  3. Then log out and log in back to let your desktop environment (e.g., KDE Plasma, GNOME Shell) find out that a new application has been installed. Otherwise, you may see mismatched application icons and other funny bugs.

Launch Pandora

  • You should be able to find Pandora in a list of installed applications. If not, you may have forgotten to log out and log in and your desktop environment (e.g., KDE Plasma, GNOME Shell) has not find out yet that a new application has been installed.
  • Alternatively, you can launch Pandora from a terminal:
    flatpak run eu.tiliado.NuvolaAppPandora

Troubleshooting

It may sometimes happen that GNOME Platform flatpak is not installed automatically although it should have been. You need to install it manually then.

  • Command: flatpak run eu.tiliado.NuvolaAppPandora
  • Error message: error: runtime/org.gnome.Platform/x86_64/3.30 not installed
  • Solution: flatpak install flathub org.gnome.Platform/x86_64/3.30
